She really understands your troubles and obstucles youre facing in this time. I admire her tteaching skills.

What made the program(s) different from any other Islamic program/course you’ve attended?

“The program really helped me think deeply about me, and what I can change. Like, it made me think about the topics that i thought i already knew, but did not really know about them.”

“Required more personal reflection through activities which forced myself to come up with realistic actions to incorporate into everyday life.”

“It had self assessment and self thinking instead of just lecture based it really made me think practically and help me improve myself and find next steps for myself”

“It was intimate and i appreciated how it was a continuous theme and brought in different aspects of our faith and history in a meaningful way.”

“Usually classes only deliver facts. In Aisha’s classes there is a lot of focus on reflecting and internalizing the topics being discussed, especially how they tie into our personal relationship with Allah and being a Muslim. There is also time to reflect during the classes which I appreciate since (sadly) we don’t get to do as often day to day. While the courses are also helping me learn new facts the primary benefit for me is it makes my natural curiosity grow to learn/reflect more beyond the class”

“Application of deen in very practical ways to our lives that are easy to develop as habits Eg affirmations etc”

“The group is smaller in number which allows for a more interactive approach and intimate than others which makes it a ‘safe space’.”

What makes Aisha, as a teacher, different?

“Aisha is a great teacher, Ma Sha Allah. She has a great listening ear, and can give advice about things happening. She also really pushes me to think about the topics on such a deep level, which i think is different. Also, Aisha explains things in a very basic english, which is not common anymore. I also feel really comfortable around her, so i also talk during the sessions, which, if it were a school, i would not do. Also, i really like it how she does small groups, and focuses on each individual; whereas teachers usually get a large group to teach.”

“Great listener. Interactive. Adaptive to learners. Creative with her content. Thinking of the bigger picture.”

“I like her method of teaching. Which makes her different then the rest of the teachers I had.she really made me think about myself and bring Islam into my practical life with thoughts and the way of thinking. Most of my previous teachers didn’t have such an effect on me.”

“She is engaging and teaches in a student-focused way often letting us take over in a sense by allowing time and space for our our thoughts and questions. She incorporates what we want to get out of the lessons by having us reflect. Her teaching is more inclusive of the student in this way.”

“Aisha encourages talking about our experiences and reflections and provides a safe space so participants feel comfortable doing so. She is also very empathetic with whatever experiences it is that is shared. She genuinely cares about the participants in the class, and wants to provide tools so that the participants improve, meet goals, and overall be more at peace.”

Was there any change and/or improvement in you after attending the program(s)?

“Yes, deeper reflection in the actions I was implementing to everyday life.”

“Yes definitely in both programs I attended I felt improvement within myself which was something I was looking for in the beginning of the program. It had a huge affect on my daily life and thoughts.”

“Yes, particularly during the Salat and Spiritual Development course. I really appreciated the focus I was able to develop during my Salat as a result of Aisha’s inspiring lessons.”

“Yes I find that I can bring back my focus quicker during salah. I’m also generally better at bridging my action/intention gap, largely due to me being more comfortable having smaller more manageable goals”

“I was more aware of my emaan.”

“I find I’m holding myself more accountable in my own endeavors”
